Our mission is to provide sustainable support to those in need, ensuring that no one in our community goes hungry or without basic necessities. We believe in the power of sadaqah to transform lives and communities.
"The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing." (Quran 2:261)
Supporting Islamic education and dawah activities is a cornerstone of our charitable work at Temitope Mosque.
We finance Islamic schools, sponsor Islamic lectures and seminars, distribute Qurans and Islamic literature, and support new Muslims in their journey of faith. Through micro-donations from our community, we're able to fund these vital dawah activities that spread the message of Islam.
"And who is better in speech than one who invites to Allah and does righteousness and says, 'Indeed, I am of the Muslims.'" (Quran 41:33)

Each Ramadan, Temitope Mosque organizes iftar meals for thousands of fasting Muslims and provides food packages to needy families.
Our "Food bank near me" initiative ensures that during the blessed month of Ramadan and throughout the year, no one in our community goes hungry. We provide nutritious meals and food packages through our transparent donation system that allows donors to see exactly how their contributions are used.
"And they give food in spite of love for it to the needy, the orphan, and the captive." (Quran 76:8)
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever gives food to a fasting person with which to break his fast, will have a reward equal to his, without it detracting in the slightest from the reward of the fasting person." (Tirmidhi)
Temitope Mosque provides comprehensive support to widows and orphans in our community through various programs.
We offer financial assistance, educational support, counseling services, and skill acquisition programs. Our transparent donation forms allow donors to specify if they want their contribution to go directly to widow and orphan support. We also facilitate charity for deceased family members through sadaqah jaariyah projects in their names.
"Righteousness is not that you turn your faces toward the east or the west, but [true] righteousness is [in] one who believes in Allah, the Last Day, the angels, the Book, and the prophets and gives wealth, in spite of love for it, to relatives, orphans, the needy..." (Quran 2:177)
Our medical aid outreach provides healthcare services to those who cannot afford it, creating lasting sadaqah jaariyah (continuous charity).
We finance medical treatments, organize free medical camps, provide medicines to the poor, and support hospital infrastructure. Giving charity for the dead in Islam through sadaqah jaariyah like medical facilities ensures ongoing rewards for the deceased. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: Sadaqah Jariyah (a continuous charity), or knowledge from which benefit is gained, or a righteous child who prays for him." (Muslim)
